President & CEO
John Duffin is President & CEO of Clarke Solutions and Acquire Automation, and is responsible for the leadership, business strategy and operations for the Clarke Companies. John has spent his entire career with The Clarke Companies, starting as an engineer executing projects for Fortune 100 Pharmaceutical clients. In 2007, John accepted a position to launch the Acquire Automation portion of the business and successfully developed Acquire into a multi-million-dollar business in vision inspection and automation. In 2007, John moved into a joint Clarke/Acquire Vice President role to further assist in management of the overall operations and was promoted to the CEO & President role of The Clarke Companies in 2015. John is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Management. Additionally, he sits on the board of The Clarke Companies.
Paul Edelman is Vice President at Clarke Solutions and is responsible for delivery organization. He joined The Clarke Companies in 2002 after 18 years as plant manager, technical director, vice president and general manager at Pliant Corp. in Shelbyville, IN. Paul led the project team that developed and commercialized the Slide-Loc® bag. He is an expert in equipment requirements, design, selection, serialization, installation, packaging, commissioning and qualification. Paul has managed several complete line integration projects at our Fishers facility and at customer sites. He is passionate about delivering high quality engineering solutions and developing mutually beneficial partnerships with our clients. Paul is responsible for New Business Development as Clarke Solutions continues to expand. He is a graduate of Michigan State University earning his degree in Packaging.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Dan Pfeifle brings over 25 years of experience to his role as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He has held several Sales and Marketing leadership roles successfully driving revenue goals in direct and indirect sales teams in public and private companies. He brings a track record of successfully growing sales and marketing organizations across a variety of business verticals including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and aerospace and defense. Prior to joining Clarke Companies, Mr. Pfeifle was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Exostar, joint venture of BAE Systems, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Merck, Raytheon, and Rolls-Royce. Dan is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Carson oversees all finance and accounting operations for The Clarke Companies as its Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 16 years of experience serving in a variety of financial roles and has been a board member, independent advisor, and a member of management for both large, family-owned and investor-backed businesses. Prior to his role at Clarke Companies, he held several independent consulting positions and played a key role in facilitating the successful $350MM merger of maxIT Healthcare and Vitalize Consulting, forming what is today Leidos Health. Mr. Carson is a graduate of Butler University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a certified Public Accountant in the State of Indiana.
Aimee Parrish is the HR Manager at The Clarke Companies. In her role, Aimee manages recruitment, employee relations, employee development, training, compensation and benefits. Aimee earned her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University and her master’s degree from the University of Iowa.
Chris Clarke (December 10, 1968 – June 22, 2014) was Founder and President of Clarke Solutions (formerly Clarke Engineering Services) and its sister company, Acquire Automation. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Chris founded Clarke in 1997 because he saw a significant need for specialized manufacturing, packaging and validation expertise for regulated industries. Chris was passionate about engineering and worked hard to develop a family-focused company while still providing superior engineering solutions and services. His legacy at Clarke will carry on as our team continues to fulfill his mission of understanding customer needs and delivering premium solutions that consistently exceed expectations.
